Opening Hours

Pool Club is seasonal and is open from the first Friday in December to the last weekend of Summer!
Opening days will vary. Opening is dependent on weather and demand.
​Requests to open the Pool Club bar on days where it is not operational will attract a minimum spend of $600 and will be dependent on staff availability.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3-7pm
Final Weekend 20 - 22 February 2026

Under 18s

Pool Club is for 18+, unless you are a guest staying at the motel. Motel guests under 18 years of age are welcome.

Weather

Pool Club is dependent on weather, because no one wants to be sipping cocktails in the rain. This means that if it is inclement weather we may not open or we may close early. Check out our Facebook page for updates.

Clothing

Pool Club is casual, but we do ask that if you are going to swim, please wear swimming clothing. If you aren't clothed in swim wear and you go into the pool, you will be asked to leave Pool Club. Wearing just underwear in and around the pool area is not appropriate attire and you will be asked to leave. Pool towels are free of charge for motel guests and $4.00 for others.

No Smoking/Vaping/Water Pipes

Pool Club and the surrounding garden areas are smoke free. This also means vaping. If you wish to smoke please go to the car park and make sure you are 4m from any shared pathway area.

Dogs

We love dogs and we have two that call South Seas their home. If you are staying with us in one of our pet friendly rooms, you are welcome to bring your dog to pool club, but please make sure they are on a lead and don't go in the water. Please be considerate of other guests as not everyone may like your dog as much as you do. Tully and Ziggy will make an appearance from time to time, after all they are our Guest and Staff Welfare Managers! If you aren't staying with us, sorry but your doggo will need to stay at home.

Guest Behaviour

We want you to have a great time when staying with us at the South Seas Motel and also our visitors to Pool Club. Please be respectful of all our guests and the motel. Any guest or visitors not respecting other guests and the property will be asked to leave. 

Responsible Service of Alcohol

​We want a chilled vibe that people can enjoy. If we think you have had enough we will pull up stumps on your drinks orders and ask you to leave. We have tap water for all our Pool Club goers, so please drink wisely and responsibly while enjoying the Merimbula sun.

​Pool Club is a licensed venue, BYO alcohol is not permitted when the bar is operating. BYO is ok at all other times.
