Bookings

The hotel reserves the right to cancel bookings without notice where no valid credit card has been registered. Photo and credit card ID will be required at check-in or digital check in. Payment is required 3 days prior to arrival. Any services that were not billed at the time of your departure, will be added to your account and will be charged to the same credit card to pay the account.

Cancellation

Standard
48  hours notice is required for a cancellation, or the first night of the booking will be charged.
Peak Periods
During our peak periods of 23 December to 31 January, Easter and June long weekend, 2 weeks notice is required for a cancellation
Early Departure
There will be no refunds provided if you choose to lease early. This includes due to inclement weather.

Child Policy

All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
One child under 2 years stays in a child's bed or cot (additional fee applies).
One older child or adult is charged AUD 20 per room for an additional bed.
The maximum number of extra beds/children's cots permitted in a room is 1.

Check in and Check out

Reception is open daily 10am to 6.00pm, but you can always check in outside these times as long as your room is ready! just give us a call on 0444 539 204 (8am - 6pm) so we can make the arrangements,
Check out is 10.00am unless arranged prior with us.

No Smoking/Vaping/Water Pipes

South House is a smoke and vap free property including the grounds.  Rooms are fitted with smoke and noise monitors.  Smoking inside rooms will incur a $500 charge.

Guest Behaviour

We want you to have a great time when staying with us at the South House Hotel, and we hope that you will be respectful of other guests and the motel. Any guest not respecting other guests and the property will be asked to leave and a refund will not be given. Any damage to the property will be charged to the guest. Please keep noise to a minimum between 9.00pm and 8.00am.
